Homemade Toys 03/17/2010
For those of you DIYers out there.... Any craft store will have great possible bird toys. We recently picked up small wooden boxes, leather pieces, wooden plaques and shredded craft paper. We took the boxes, drilled a hole in the lid and the bottom of the box. Filled it with the paper, nuts and dried fruit. Ran the leather through it, and VIOLA!!! Cheap foraging bird toy! The Plaque pieces, we cut and drilled holes and then put them on the leather laces....Chewing toys!
