KRS Avairy specializes in Aratinga conures! We are a small hobby breeder, licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. We have found this species of parrot to be intelligent, easy going, and quick to pick up tricks. They are engaging, entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable members or our family.

Though we don't sell these babies as "talkers" it is not unusual for the conures to pick up a word or two. More important, these outgoing little parrots will learn your likes and dislikes and will bend over backwards to make themselves a special part of your family. They love toys, to chew ( so supply many wooden toys!) and are so inquisitive they will learn a variety of new behaviors quickly and easily.
Our birds grow up in our home, will step up on command and are sweet and happy to interact. These parrots eat a variety of foods, are trained to a water bottle and exposed to our numerous grandchildren, so they are used to noise, quick movements and handling by younger kids. We have placed many conure babies with owners in our area and have many references.

These "bird people" have the same love for the parrots that we do and are often wonderful sources of support and information.  Green Cheek Conures are very popular! They come in different colors (Pineapple, Cinnamon, Turquoise, Yellow Side, Yellow Side Turquoise, Pineapple Turquoise, Cinnamon Turquoise, Dilute) but they are all just Green Cheeks!
|  Blue Crown Conures are one of the largest Conures. They are great talkers, and their calls are very much like a Macaw call in tone. They were made famous from the movie "Paulie". They are Macaws in a little body!

 Painted Conures are quite rare. They are a little louder than Green Cheeks, and are a little larger. Painted Conures have a checkered "bib" and crimson on their bellies and shoulders
|  The Nanday Conure is a very popular Conure. They can be sweet and loving, but are for a more advanced owner. Nanday Conure calls can be shrill and they can test owners

 The Sun Conure is the MOST popular Conure. They are bright and colorful, however, research their calls before you buy! Sun Conures can be loud!
|  The Jenday Conure is extremely close to the Sun Conure. They both have similar colors, behaviors, and calls. Lots of breeders pair Suns and Jendays up to create the Sunday.

 Cherry Head Conures are ADORABLE! They are of small build, cute, can be good talkers. They can be easily tamed but can be LOUD and shrill
|  Peach Front and Half Moon Conures are very similar as well. They differ slightly in size, peach coloration, and beak color. They can make wonderful pets! Peach Fronts and Half Moons can be great talkers.
